Â I was surprised by the price list because the lenses are more expensive than I expected. Compared to B&H's prices, the average savings is approximately $500. Some people are stating they have the new list already, although at this point, I am not sure if anyone in the US has gotten it or not. Â Then last week I got an undated letter with Mr. Lee's signature with a price list. I have no idea whether this is the old or the new list. Â Some key prices in Euros are: Â Elmart-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH : 945 Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH: 2,167 Tri-Elmar-M 28-35-50 mm f/4 ASPH: 2,170 Â Do any of you have different prices? We prepared two versions of the price list - one for countries that implemented a Value-Added Tax such as the EU and Canada, and one for countries that do not have a Value-Added Tax structure.  2. Also the price of the LEICA NOCTILUX-M 50 mm f/1 was wrong in both price lists.  3. Leica responded today to an email I sent asking about it and said they should be sent out in the next few days. If it's like the last one and comes from Germany, it could take a while to get here. So, sounds like, so far, no one has received the US version of the price list? I registered on Dec 29th, but haven't received a letter yet from Leica. I realize they were closed for the holidays so I should probably just sit tight, but wondering how long it's taken others to get their letters.  I received an updated version (1.09 firmware) on Dec 30th (I paid by credit card Dec 29 with next day delivery). I registered it on line Dec 30th, and also sent in the postcard showing purchase date. Does anyone know if I will get the 30% discount, since my M8 is one of the "fixed" ones? I do understand that the early adopters, with all the problems, are certainly entitled to the discount, but I'm not sure about us who paid before Dec 31, but got updated bodies. Â it was to be made available (per the dealers) to anyone who paid in full prior to the turn of the new year, whether or not they actually took delivery. I'm pretty tapped out financially after spending a good deal for the body, the 28mm Asph, and a used 90 Elmarit, so I'm hoping the offer will last long enough for me to replenish my bank account.
