Can anyone tell me why the jitter alert comes on before EVERY picture I take? Even when the camera is perfectly still, sitting on a countertop. Â Thanks for your help. marknorton Posted January 9, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted January 9, 2007 Rule of thumb for 35mm is handheld is OK down to 1/lens focal length, so that with a 50mm lens, you can hand-hold down to 1/50 second. Add the crop factor (4? for a D-Lux 3) and 1/50 of a second would be OK down to 12mm focal length. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
