bill vann Posted January 9, 2007 Share #1  Posted January 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Got my M8 a couple weeks ago and am happily playing with it. between the holidays and teh weather have only just gotten out with it.  I know they seem to have WB issues and i shoot raw but i'm suprprised when i take the same picture 2-4 times in a row (minor composition diferences the color temp may be 6500 3500 and 5500 on three frames. is the wb that bad?  of course they can be fixed with Camera 1 LE in raw conversion but this is surprising  bill Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

bill vann Posted January 9, 2007 Author Share #7  Posted January 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Firmware is 1.09.  having color problems as well but in typical high IR settings, when i can find filters this will sort itself out, not worried about it.  I need to go through the board and search on workflow as it is proving a challenge. any tips for fast good results  I'm coming from a Kodak SLR/c which took some work before delivering beautiful images so i'm quite willing to invest the time. quite heavy with L glass though no longer manageable.  The M8 is so much fun, i came to the leica because of spinal shoulder and knee injuries and multiple spinal spinal surgeries and this is the first time in over 3 years i can do a walkabout with a camera and a few lenses.   will post mor pics as able and looking for IR filters.  got a host of CV and Leica glass and the CV glass is scary good at such a price. will sort out a kit and leicaly have both.  kindly  bill Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
