holmes Posted September 6, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) First I have stated lo these many months about film. However I did include mention of my Canon 40D and my great little Digilux C -2. This little gem came out from Solmes well over a year ago. It is truly a pocket sized camera. I added a plexiglass type material to the rear viewing screen. I can carry it around in a small LowPro belt bag with a smaller pocket in front an for extra battery and SD card. What I'm having is a difficult time the timing release of Leica next generation. At the top of the page, I see the X1,(high cost), LeicaD-Lux 4 and the Leica V-Lux 20. I'm not going into the much more expensive models. ( Unfair comparison) So what I trying to find out is, will the world end if I should choose NOT to purchase one of the three mentioned upgrade models, or stay with my little C-Lux2? earleygallery Posted September 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 7, 2010 Hi, I think this should be in the digital forum? The CLux2 is a fine camera if you need the smallest pocketable type as a carry anywhere. I keep mine with me most of the time for the unexpected grab shots and A4 prints look great. It's starting to play up thought (electric zoom functions going awol) so may need replacing. But, to answer you, if it ain't broke why fix it?
