Julian Thompson Posted September 8, 2010 Share #61 Posted September 8, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hmmmn - now that is interesting. Indeed, when I first kicked off with Vuescan before I used the new scanner profile I recall having a magenta issue myself (I was working on a picture of my boy in a blue baby suit which kept looking magenta!) Then I profiled the scanner and the problem went away. Tell you what Pete - send me your email address on a PM and I will email you a copy of my ICC profile. I don't know if it will work on your particular machine but its got to be worth a quick try?
Advertisement Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Hi Julian Thompson, Take a look here Slide Scanning. Where am I going wrong?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
BennehBoy Posted September 25, 2010 Share #62 Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) I finally got round to writing an article covering the use of VueScan, ColourPerfect, & PhotoShop to correct colour. You can check it out here. It's the first draft so Slide is yet to be covered, but it should be a good guide for neg film. PS, just noticed this -> http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/film-forum/137284-colour-negative-scanning-vuescan-colorperfect.html - I guess the horse already bolted!
