Digilux 3 - Banding

Hi,

 

I've done a bit of searching and found several references to banding issues at high ISOs with the Digilux 3. On my model it is evident in shadow areas at most ISOs although very rare at 100 and for some reason it tends to be less at 800.

 

So far I have found no information on possible solutions. When I first bought the camera it had to be sent back to have the hot pixels mapped out which was very successful. I'm wondering weather Leica could fix or reduce the banding?

 

Has anyone any experience in this regard?
