Advertisement Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Hi iShutterbug, Take a look here Florida Sandhill Cranes. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 28, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 28, 2010 i - Beautiful models, beautiful shot for composition, light, color and detail. Not being able to see their license plates I can't tell that they are Florida sandhill cranes.
iShutterbug Posted August 28, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted August 28, 2010 (edited) Good call, Stu. They were shot here in Florida but upon further research they may be Canadian Sandhill Cranes. If I could have changed the title I would have. But on the other hand we do get so many "snow birds" down here it's getting hard to tell where they're from. I was smitten with the way their grayish foliage turned out in this picture taken with my 70-year-old Leica II and old-faithful sports lens. I think it's so cute the way birds will stand so still on one leg for so long. Edited August 28, 2010 by iShutterbug
vdb Posted August 28, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 28, 2010 Outstanding. I live near a Sandhills srane migratory preserve...nothing like see and listening to thousands of these wonderful birds commune.
