I have been doing a bit of early Spring cleaning in the "Digital" section.

Several people have been posting photos in this section recently, especially taken with M8s. If these are to specifically illustrate a point in the thread, then that's fine, but if they are just shots taken with an M8, they really should be posted in the appropriate "Photo Forum" section.

Not only are you likely to get more of a response if posting there, but, as the Digital forum is already extremely busy, it helps to keep the whole area "on topic". Otherwise, the section is in danger of getting swamped by posts which should be elsewhere.

Thanks for your understanding.

Andy,

Thanks, I agree this was starting to get out of hand. Anyhow, I was beginning to feel a little left out because I haven't posted any photos of my ugly living room taken with my M8, nor have I been able to torture it into producing any of the "fatal flaws" that so richly illustrate this forum. Maybe I got the only good one. ;-)

Then should the "Photo Forum" be renamed "Image Forum"?;)

William-Don't even go there. The m8 makes "photos". Get over it.

photo - a picture of a person or scene in the form of a print or transparent slide; recorded by a camera on light-sensitive material

Bradley,

First of all, "photo" n- a photograph.

Secondly, "photograph" n- a picture made using a camera, in which an image is focused onto film or other light-sensitive material and then made visible and permanent by chemical treatment.

You cut off the definition, duuude. Who's political campaign are you advisor for? They do that sort of thing quite often!

(Sorry gang, it was the "Welcome to the 21st century" JAB that set me off a bit.) Peace!-w

There's no need for this, fellas, thanks.

Sorry Andy,

As you can see by my original post and smiley, my original comment was meant to be light hearted!
