Walt Calahan Posted August 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2010 Pretty amazing isn't it. Five years ago I bought a One-gig card for $234. Ouch.
LuxBob Posted August 4, 2010 Share #3 Posted August 4, 2010 This is awful. When I was in the mainframe IT business we managed 100K per Gb when we first brought out this massive, unheard of groundbreaking, business expanding, new horizons type capability. It was also in decent, man size cabinets, none of this namby pamby miniature stuff. Where is Mr. Ludd? 3 bucks a gig is complete madness. Thank goodness I am no longer in that industry
Nicoleica Posted August 4, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 4, 2010 I just bot a couple of Ultra II 8GB cards at $24. These were $50 each, not long ago. If that were in floppy disks, they would be just under half a cent each!
