Advertisement Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Hi biglouis, Take a look here iPunk. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2010 Big - It looks like you did this in PP rather than really seeing him like this, but you did see him like this. His mother must be very proud, and he must be almost pathologically in need of being noticed. A fun shot.
steve kessel Posted August 4, 2010 Share #3 Posted August 4, 2010 Louis Nice, with the colours and bend in the pavement Best wishes Steve
leicadig3 Posted August 4, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 4, 2010 Stuart is absolutely right. I don´t know why this guy likes wear that tie! I agree with Steve about colour and the bend in pavement, but I would prefer it without the drain on the left. Regards. Enrique. .
aesop Posted August 4, 2010 Share #5 Posted August 4, 2010 ...personally, I find his keyboard "technique" a bit rum, to say the least. Nice work (as usual), Louis.
tmldds Posted August 4, 2010 Share #6 Posted August 4, 2010 Louis, quite a unique shot of an individual of poor taste in clothes and hair. Tri:)
biglouis Posted August 4, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted August 4, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Staurt, Steve, Enirque and Tri - thanks for your interest and comments. To put this in context, he was attending a wedding which took place before the one I was asked to photograph at Westminster Town Hall. I think he was making an effort for the day. I assure you, his hair was bright red! LouisB
likalar Posted August 4, 2010 Share #8 Posted August 4, 2010 I really enjoyed this to wake up to, and the comments are just as much fun. Good one! Larry
pauledell Posted August 5, 2010 Share #9 Posted August 5, 2010 Louis, A great shot of a tall well dressed rooster. Paul
Neil Macmillan Posted August 5, 2010 Share #10 Posted August 5, 2010 Most unusual. Maybe his workplace dress code is very specific about what is below the neck, while above the neck is left to individual interpretation. Hence, we have the opposite ends of the continuum from rather conservative to totally out there represented by a single individual at the same time. But I could be totally off here; is a rather dated looking suit & tie combo the newest thing in the punk underworld?
biglouis Posted August 5, 2010 Author Share #11 Posted August 5, 2010 Thanks again for all the responses. Of course before we all pass judgement on anyone with a Mohican haircut, here is a photograph from a series of photographs by Robert Capa which I have always found both fascinating and poignant. "In preparation for an Allied forces parachute jump six miles east of The Rhine, an American paratrooper receives an al fresco Comanche Indian mohican haircut in Arras, France. andit Posted August 9, 2010 Share #14 Posted August 9, 2010 Hi Louis, I love this image. Why should people all be put into the same box - I think this shows individualism in our modern corporate world. Well spotted. Thank you for sharing this one with us.
