AMinSF Posted July 29, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 29, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Have any of you had problems with any of the push buttons on the back of the camera? My joystick is not working properly and I'm wondering if it's a common problem. Also wondering if leica would repair it free of charge as it seems like an unusual problem to have. My camera is in excellent condition and does NOT show wear and tear. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

ho_co Posted July 31, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 31, 2010 I've got D-Lux 2 and D-Lux 4. Have had no trouble with buttons. In my case, it seems that the D-Lux 4 joystick requires a longer press than the other buttons, but it's consistent, so I assume it's working correctly. If there's a problem, Leica can fix it quickly. mhanke Posted August 1, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 1, 2010 Have the D-Lux 3, and the joystick button ceased to work properly about a year ago. It works, but only intermittantly so, often requires two or three strong pushes with the thumb, until the quick menu appears. The fourway-operation is flawless, though.
