Have any of you had problems with any of the push buttons on the back of the camera? My joystick is not working properly and I'm wondering if it's a common problem.

Also wondering if leica would repair it free of charge as it seems like an unusual problem to have. My camera is in excellent condition and does NOT show wear and tear.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

i've had a dlux4 since introduction and have not had any issues with the buttons or joystick- the dlux4 should still be under warranty- if you are in the us call leica nj for instructions

I've got D-Lux 2 and D-Lux 4.

Have had no trouble with buttons.

In my case, it seems that the D-Lux 4 joystick requires a longer press than the other buttons, but it's consistent, so I assume it's working correctly.

If there's a problem, Leica can fix it quickly.

Have the D-Lux 3, and the joystick button ceased to work properly about a year ago. It works, but only intermittantly so, often requires two or three strong pushes with the thumb, until the quick menu appears. The fourway-operation is flawless, though.
