ryee3 Posted July 28, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can anyone help me turn on the burst mode so I can take three frames with one push of the shutter? I have it switched to burst mode but the display has it x'd out. Where do I turn this on? Thanks:)
Advertisement Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Hi ryee3, Take a look here Digilux 2 Question re burst mode . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
calshot Posted July 28, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2010 Make sure your in Jpeg mode. Turn the operation mode swith(under the shutter) to the mid position. In set up Rec find the burst rate and set to H. Make sure shutter is above 1/60 and away you go. Page 52 of the LC1 manual. Think I have covered it.Works on mine. ryee3 Posted July 28, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted July 28, 2010 Dear Calshot: I swithched from RAW to JPEG and it worked! I did not have to change the A mode to the 1/60 speed you mentioned. Thanks for all your help! I was on vacation, and did not have my instruction manuel.
rliamo Posted July 31, 2010 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2010 I never thought I would hear burst mode and the D2 in the same sentence! To get it to shoot as flat out set it to its lowest JPEG setting and focus manually.Even then it is a camera that won't be rushed.Still, what a lens.Don't think Leica will ever fit a lens of this quality to a middle market camera again. I am not sure the Digilux 2 was regarded as a 'middle market' product when it was launched. For its time it was one of the absolute best bridge cameras available. jaapv Posted August 4, 2010 Share #6 Posted August 4, 2010 The price certainly was not middle-market and I think its current fan club is testimony to its top quality.
John Thawley Posted August 4, 2010 Share #7 Posted August 4, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The price certainly was not middle-market and I think its current fan club is testimony to its top quality. Heck, it sells for more used than most top-'o-the-line' point 'n shots sell for new. I just parted with one of mine. A VERY clean stock number.... very clean. Sadly I won't be able to post it's successor here on the L-Word err... L-Forum due to it's none Leica DNA. I will point to a link however, when she arrives. Here's a hint... a pimped out, chopped and channeled 1960 110A/B with red leather trim. LOL
LuxBob Posted August 11, 2010 Share #8 Posted August 11, 2010 1960 110A/B with red leather trim. LOL Corvette with 110 volt electric motor? Perhaps with an in dash 110 camera above the 8 track?
