Looks like it might have been video-related, since the aperture would have been open all the time. But I suspect if the laser hits at the right exposure for a camera, it'd could do some damage. adan Posted July 26, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 26, 2010 Shutter open all the time, not (necessarily) aperture, but yes, video (or live-view for stills) leaves the sensor "exposed" in more ways than one.
