elansprint72 Posted January 2, 2007 Share #9 Posted January 2, 2007 Al, Looks a little cold round your way; I was out in garden wearing a T shirt today and we are 9 degrees North of you! How do they know when to bring the houses in? Cheers, Pete.
dan_drabek Posted January 3, 2007 Share #10 Posted January 3, 2007 Al, I once (about 25 years ago) spent a night ice fishing on Mille Lacs in just such a shack. Your picture brings back chill memories. I remember sleeping on a wooden bunk with no mattress. A bottle of Jack Daniels made it feel almost comfortable. albert Posted January 3, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted January 3, 2007 Pete, A hard date is fixed for removal......Late February + / - This year is very unusual.....not sure what will happen. DD, Good to hear from you. I'll try to keep some of your old Minnesota memories popping up. I have not been in an ice house but I know they have become quite elaborate. All amenities are being included: I.E. Fishing while watchng football with cell phone alarm fish-biting software.
