stuny Posted June 30, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 30, 2010 Liz - Excellent and interesting evolution of your vision and style. But, you were in the same hemisphere as Ben and me and you didn't stop by to see us? (Imagine mega-pouting)
Chrism.. Posted June 30, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 30, 2010 Really excellent pictures, I like no. 1 the most. Congratulations
likalar Posted June 30, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 30, 2010 Wow, these are amazing, very touching photographs. The child peeking from behind the post, and all the rest........ Excellent!!! Thanks for posting these! Larry P.S. Small point, and I hate to even mention it: Please consider a bit more space between each image on groups of shots. This would help the viewer "feel" each deserving image alone. Thanks!
jplomley Posted June 30, 2010 Share #7 Posted June 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I really like the content and the compositions, but the post-processing I'm not quite buying into. Not sure the images really benefit from that "look". Reminds me of tonal contrasts pushed a bit too much in NIK.
Louis Posted June 30, 2010 Share #8 Posted June 30, 2010 Liz, I am always looking forward to see your work. Excellent conversion to B/W. What software do you use for the conversion? Regards,
steve kessel Posted June 30, 2010 Share #9 Posted June 30, 2010 Liz I like 4 the most. Also, do you have more of the person with the monkey? Best wishes Steve
turner Posted June 30, 2010 Share #10 Posted June 30, 2010 Liz, I jumped when I spotted your initials and am not disappointed. Wonderful captures. The young child peeking and the fellow hauling sacks stand out. Looking forward to your next location. Turner

LLT Posted July 1, 2010 Author Share #15 Posted July 1, 2010 Liz - Excellent and interesting evolution of your vision and style. But, you were in the same hemisphere as Ben and me and you didn't stop by to see us? (Imagine mega-pouting) Stuart I've kinda surprised myself with that evolution also... in that I really have got no clue where it has come from?! For once, the M9 (well used to be the M8) is no longer just my baby that I brought everywhere with me, it's a tool, which I have enjoyed immensely. Oooo. ..I was actually in LA, transiting for a whole day... and was killing time in a hotel.. didn't even think! You guys are in NY though aren't you? LLT Posted July 1, 2010 Author Share #16 Posted July 1, 2010 Liz I like 4 the most. Also, do you have more of the person with the monkey? Best wishes Steve Steve, funny you asked that. This is the only shot where I've managed to successfully crop out the person withe the monkey. In fact this is my only shot of the person with the monkey. This will sound terrible but I didn't think she was interesting enough to include in the picture and have made a conscious decision to exclude her. LLT Posted July 1, 2010 Author Share #17 Posted July 1, 2010 Thank you everyone for your feedback/critique as usual. I really appreciate every single one. @ Larry, no worries, sure thing. @ JPLomley, Cheers. I guess the high contrast look isn't for everyone. I do have a fetish for it at the moment though. @ Louis2, I used a combination of Alienskins (mimicking TriX) and PS4.
