robert irvin Posted January 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Before diving head first into the M8 when it becomes readily available I would like to test drive the Leica M6. Any of the lucky M8 owners thinking about getting rid of the M6 they have laying around now?<g> Preferably a .72 finder and black and in nice shape. After seeing the images that Jack and Guy posted from the trip to Yellowstone I am thinking about moving from my current system to the Leica. I wear glasses so does anyone have suggestions or tips...? Bob
Advertisement Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Hi robert irvin, Take a look here Selling that nasty ole M6 now that you have your M8?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
davidmires Posted January 1, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 1, 2007 No way I'm getting rid of mine. They are pretty easy to find though. You should be able to find one for $800 to $1200 depending on condition. Get the ttl if you are planning on getting an M8 eventually, the "classic" M6 has the old style(opposite direction)shutter speed dial. Glasses are no problem unless you are trying to see the 28mm frame lines.
