I recall there was a lengthy and informative M8 camera bag thread. Can someone point me? I have need for a small bag for M8 with Leica 24 ASPH with shade attached plus 5 additional lenses, filters, etc. I purchased a Leica Billingham bag----lovely bag, but won't hold all my stuff, just a shade too small. (If anyone is interested in the Billingham, I have never used it, and it comes with Leica Red Dot cover.)

BTW my M8 arrived Saturday, Dec 30th, firmware 1.09

Thanks

I have really liked the Kinesis bags.

In particular, I use the E330 bag (Kinesis Photo Gear [E-Series] Lens Pouches) -- holds an M7 with lens plus a second lens, and a several rolls of film plus a filter or 2. I bought the strap for it too -- so I don't have to hook it to a belt, just wear it like a regular shoulder bag. (Although I do have the belt system for SLR gear which also works great.)

Overall, it's well made and very well thought out gear.

Annibale, one of our new M users on the film side, has asked the same question and received a rich collection of responses:

My personal preferences, in priority order:

Fogg

Billingham

M-Classics or an original Leica reporter bag

Crumpler

Domke

Not to be discounted, but no personal experience:

Artisan & Artist

Luigi's bag (I have a couple of half-cases and they are wonderful)
