nealf Posted December 29, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I believe due to the increased IR sensitivity of the M8 and the fact that this is a real tree I got a very interesting effect when I photographed the tree using only the ambient light in the room and the lights on the tree itself. The tree came out purple but most likely due to the blinking and changing patterns of the light, none of the branches or tree parts registered distinctly. The ornaments, reflecting the room lights, came out clear and appear to almost float over a purple haze,, weird !!

Guest lykoudos Posted December 29, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2006 Hello Neal, Thank you for your great photographs of the tree. He pleases me like that as it shown is very good. I have the impression that behind track ends the light sign, which whole white winter splendour is met and hidden. It seems correctly through to the viewer ago. For me it looks not at all artificial. I love everything that has to do with American Christian celebration. Kind regards and a good new year. Wolfgang (Leica MP)
