khanosu Posted December 27, 2006 Share #1  Posted December 27, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Excuse me if this topic has already been covered; a forum search for Lightroom ACR 3.6 did not bring up the answer. Has someone figured out how to use ACR 3.6 in Lightroom beta 4.1 (for M8 DNG Files) instead of the embedded profile that appears in the profile (Develop -> Camera Calibration -> Profile) drop down menu?  I have ACR 3.6 installed in Photoshop CS2 and CS3 plugin folders.  In CS2 and CS3 ACR gives a choice between “embedded” and “ACR 3.6”. Choosing ACR 3.6 gives better results than “embedded” as discussed in this forum.  In Lightroom beta 4.1, M8 DNG files give “embedded” as the only choice, the choice of ACR 3.6 does not appear in the menu.  By the way, in Lightroom beta 4.1, Canon 5D RAW files bring up ACR 3.3 as the only choice.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!  Furrukh
