richam Posted December 26, 2006 Share #2 Â Posted December 26, 2006 Had a lot of problems matching display to prints. Based on an article in LFI, I bought the inexpensive Huey. It worked perfectly and solved the problems.
johnastovall Posted December 26, 2006 Share #3 Â Posted December 26, 2006 All Monitors used for image processing must be calibrated to get consistant results. Â The Eye-One is the best one out there. Â But monitor calibration is just one step on getting a fully color managed workflow. Â I suggest everyone doing post processing and printing get and study Fraser and Rodney's books on color management.
B&W Posted December 26, 2006 Share #4 Â Posted December 26, 2006 I'm using a eye-one display 2 once a week for my monitor. Nice little tool. Â If you are going to do a ICC for your total work flow - well, that's another story
CorreCaminos Posted December 26, 2006 Share #5 Â Posted December 26, 2006 Eric, Â I use a Gretag-Macbeth Eye One Display to calibrate my monitors and it works great. Trying to post-process photos without a calibrated monitor is a waste of time. Â Where in Sta Cruz de Tfe are you? I used to live near the Mercado until I moved away 26 years ago. Do you know Manolo Aldana? If so, tell him Fernando from Tejas says hi! Â Miguel Asensio Austin, Tx
