I did shoot with the SF 24D flash yesterday, and several times the flash did fire two times with each shoot. The result was totally overexposure.

It did appear with the flash sync: 2nd Curtain and the flash in TTL mode.

Anybody experienced the same?

The flash fiering twice is what I'm used to with the D2 and second curtain synch, however overexposure isn't an issue with that combo. That said second curtain dosen't really have an effect until the exposure time gets a little on the longe side.

Gledelig Jul!

Jarle,

Forgot to ask: did you try the 2nd curtain sync with the SF24D set to 'A' mode rather than TTL/GNC?

Yes I did try that as well, did not fire twice but came out a bit overexposed as well.

Check your slow sync setting. If you don't limit that, the camera will try and expose with extremely long shutter times. You can change it in menu.

Thanks - that did the trick
