andybarton Posted December 25, 2006 Share #2 Â Posted December 25, 2006 Santa dropped a pair of Ultravids into my wife's stocking this year, which pleased her greatly. Now we don't have to share the old Trinovids on our expeditions to the bird sanctuary at the end of our road.. Â So that pleases me greatly too
rick123 Posted December 25, 2006 Share #3 Â Posted December 25, 2006 Hi Peter, Â In our family, we open some presents on Christmas eve as well. Last night I unwrapped the new Leica chocolate brown leather case for my D-Lux 2! It is a richer looking case than the ever ready black leather 1 for my M6. Now I'm just waiting for the family to awake on this glorious day. Â Rick

enboe Posted December 25, 2006 Share #5  Posted December 25, 2006 Kind of disappointing. 2 weeks paid time off, a Luigi case and a spare battery, two 2GB cards with reader, PC, printer, and software all set, but still no M8 back from Leica, and no hopes until next year at the earliest.  Eric  P.S. Remember, mine came with a jammed and buckled shutter straight out of the box.

4season Posted December 25, 2006 Share #15 Â Posted December 25, 2006 ... Nothing Leica-like, but on wednesday I am picking up my new car, also a "relic" name of the German industry. Â Messerschmitt or Trabant? Â Nothing Leica-related under my Christmas tree, and in fact, no Christmas tree, but I did receive a very nice chrome M8 a couple of weeks ago.
