Former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky at a packed reception and reading in his honor at USF Alumni Center, Tampa, Florida, 28 Apr 2010. Leica IIIf, Summarit 50/1.5, Fuji Pro 160C, VCII meter, 1/50 @ f/1.5, CS4 dust removal, crop, Topaz Adjust, Nik Sharpener Pro, available light, hand-held, drugstore develop and scan to CD. I'm really very bashful and I have to have a lot of confidence in my equipment to stand up in front of a roomful of people like that. :)

nice tones & sense of the moment; the trusty IIIf + summarit is excellent & as up to most contemporary street & snap tasks as ever (like the CL & its lenses). Post some more of these . . .
Guy, thank you kindly. :)

Thx so much for share the way you did this....¡¡¡

just the kid is watching You...

Bob

Thanks, Bob. This is what I was getting in the safety/anonymity of my front row seat--a brick head!--so I had to move up front in the corner of the room to capture him interacting with the audience. I always shot wide open here, my gear was CLA'd by DAG. On this shot only postprocessing was CS4 dust, crop, Nik Viveza to lighten lectern, sharpen book title. [i need to adjust color temp a little.] :)
