looks very much like a Fiat 500...but certainly too simple 😊

You got it! A simple FIAT requires a simple answer.

Ha, now they try Steyr Puch because they think I´m a mean guy. Counted on that, Wilson 😉

Your turn ALAIN!

It seems to be a confusing mix of Old and New. Originally (having skirted the 959 trap!) I was wondering along the lines of some kind of 1950s / '60s GRP-bodied VW Type-1 special but although the chrome-plated bumper suggests pre-1980 (-ish) the headlamp glasses / surrounds look far too modern to be from an older vintage - although I really should dig out snaps of my long-gone 1959 Type-1 to confirm that thought re: the lenses......

Looks interesting!

Philip.

There was a little Fiat two seater which had a Porsche like nose.  However, at least the U.S. version, had vertically mounted seal-beam headlights.  My brother-in-law had a red one and he always complained about it having a lack of power from the rear mounted 4-cylinder engine.

How about a Fiat sports car from the 1960's?

David -

You might be thinking of the FIAT 850 spider or the FIAT Abarth 850 sport spider.  I suspect it's the latter.  The former never had covered headlights in the US, though it did in Europe.  From the late '60s to early '70s.
