Nigel,

I also thought Lancia, as that blue (and the mint green) are very 1950's Lancia colours but could not match the shape of the windscreen, side window and B pillar to any Appia, Aurelia or Flaminia coupé but they were bodied by so many coachbuilders, I may have missed the vital one.

So as an alternative guess A Simca 8 Sport Coupé.

Yes

Thought we were maybe looking at a Lancia Aurelia GT 2500 B24 hardtop (or Aurelia B24 convertible with factory top) ie after the original wraparound screen was restlyed by Pininfarina

Agree re the colour - not sure I’ve ever seen a “baby blue” Ponton....

My father had two 220S "Ponton" saloons in the 1950's and later in 1962, a "Heckflosse" (tail fins) W111/220SEC Coupé. Sadly the SEC was very badly damaged when it was just 3 weeks old, by being T-boned by a drunk driver. It should have been written off but was repaired. It was never right afterwards and my father sold it after a couple of years. I saw it around 15 years later in London (I remembered the number plate of DSE909) in a very sad and rusty state. I spoke to the then owner, who complained just like my father did after its accident, that it always pulled to the left and was very sensitive to road cambers. I will search for a new puzzle later today.

Here is your next one. As usual make, model and approx year plus for brownie points, the power unit maker.
