The color suggest military, and the tread and size suggest something of the size of the WWII and Korean War US Jeeps, though the bolt pattern is not Jeep.  Perhaps even the German Schwimmwagen of that era.

Well, Suart, this was a fast race and you are the winner   :)

In my hometown there is every year an oldtimer-meeting, where you can find really interesting objects. This is one of them...

Thank you.

Beautiful.  I hope to see one "in the metal" rather than as I've seen in photos over the years.

No, not a Squire.  The Simeone collection has a wonderful 1933 Squire Roadster.

I guess it's time for a broader crop

Close enough, Dunk.  It's a 1948 Alvis 12-70 Special.  Your turn.  This was during the viewing period before the Keno Brothers auction

Correct Stewart.

This was one of the 3 cylinder 500 cc models.

Also manufactured with 2 cylinder 2-stroke and twin 4-stroke.

The engine here is not original. Apparently the original 3 cylinder from this car is in the hands of the Berkley Club's membership secretary.
