Caterham?

Stefan

Correct. Even standing close by it I would struggle to tell which model but it is the new Supersport R with a 180HP 2 litre Ford Duratec engine.

Nice one Wilson, I guess lots of fun driving such a light car with so much power

Stefan,

I am still not driving three pedal cars due to replacement of my ankle prosthesis. I hope to be driving this one and the car we will be taking on the Swiss Lakes Rally next month in around 2 weeks. We are going to take either a 1955 Eagle Jaguar XK140 or if the forecast is for rain, a 1973 911 Carrera 2.7RS Lightweight.

Nobody asked, but the 300SL on the right looks nice too.

I have not driven that one yet. It is a cabrio. The last 300SL I drove was a Gullwing in 1969 and it was not a good one with very sticky steering and brakes whose drums switched on one at a time. This is I am told a nice one. If the Swiss Lakes Rally was not as twisty, we might have taken it but the XK140 with power steering or the 2.7 RS with quite light steering are better bets.

I've never driven any 300SL - I am told that the cabrio is a much nicer drive. The Gullwing was apparently a handfull and easy to scare oneself, while the roadster drives like a much more modern car.
