Andreas already mentioned the XK-SS. That Mc Queen had and that is known as the street version of the D-Type. I had my doubts it is one because of the position of the small light under the head beam which looks different to what I remember the XK-SS has it positioned.

 

We need some enlightenment here ;)

No, not me, it´s Andreas turn, he mentioned XK-SS before. That picture fooled me because of the turned angle, so I thought it´s the C-Type.

 

TMaybe the photo shows the left front wing of an Jaguar XK SS, photographed from above?

p.s. Some years ago I was on a roadster trip near the former east/west german border and in one curve on a very small road an XK-SS crossed my way, UK-registration. That was an interesting moment, we both were not "slow", both had green cars, both no lights on.

Here we are, many, many seasons back from Massa and Hamilton, in the pre war era: Who names this engineering highlight? The special technical issue is clearly visible.
