I believe the original owner was racing driver and motor engineer David Blakely, who was murdered by Ruth Ellis. Given it seems to be that HRG, its underpinnings are probably Singer not TR.

The owner calls it "EB 1300 S".

Now my assumption: The donor car is a TVR Vixen 1300 which got massively converted. Why?

The owner is an avid TVR enthusiast and on the front end (I have no photos to share) it has the typical two nose holes of the Vixen models up from S2 to later.

My assumption: Due to the number "1300" mentioned as model name, this must have one of the rare Vixen 1300 genes (only 15 cars made). The 1300 was based on the Triumph Spitfire Mk IV, not a success but showed design details which were later used in the TVR M-series.

I thought it was the same as this car. Many of the HRG's seem to have had LOY registrations.

I was thinking about a Fiat 1100 model from the '50s

So don´t be shy and better mention the model. I cannot read your thoughts 😉

It is indeed an 1100, to be precise the 1100-103 (or Nuovo 1100).

Your turn!
