It actually resembles the later XK140 grille rather than the XK120, which was narrower, had fewer and wider spaced bars. pippy Posted November 17 Share #24172 Posted November 17 Thanks very much for the suggestions, Wilson and evikne, but having had a google the rear of the window area seems to be a later-than-1940s wrap-around style and the rear-light cluster housing also seems to be a bit too advanced even for a car from the late 1940's My initial thoughts were that the origins were North American but the car could very easily have come to this part of Africa from a different continent from my assumption.
