Yes Bernard, it is a Peugeot 403 (1955-1966). Your turn.

This 403 is not a regular model, but a pickup version.

Thank you.
Unfortunately, I do not have any photo of car whatsoever, because I never photography cars. Never. Matter of principle, you know. 🙃.

More seriously, I give my turn.

What's wrong with photographing cars??

Nothing, of course. It was just a (tentative and preliminary) kind of a joke, unsuccessful I’m afraid, in order to hide the fact that I have no photo of cars.
May I suggest that you submit another one?

By the way, my father had a 403 in the late fifties, and I had Dinky Toys grey 403 (stolen some years ago, but that’s another story).

I thought I had been too generous with the crop, but the 403 is obviously very familiar to you 😊

I don' have any photo left...any volunteer for the next mystery car?

I'm not sure if I have posted this previously but, if not, here's something for a bit of fun (and I'm not talking about the 1 Horse-power vehicle on the right of the pic...);

The one on the right I refer to as oat burner technology.  the one on the left makes me think of thepeugot with the slightly downward tilted boot, and if not that, a VW sedan.

Also reminds me BMW sedan's from the 80's...

The car is not from any of the manufacturers listed as yet. Nigel is closest so far in that it IS a budget model and dates from the early '70s athough I'm pretty sure Pininfarina had no input to the design.

Which brings up a good point! A word on 'the design' is neccessary. There were detail-differences seen on these models depending on which was the intended market. USA cars had some different trim (and so on) from 'European' cars and even the name of the car was tailored to suit these different market-places. It is, though, a well-known model and I will accept any name so long as it is correct!...

Something from the side?

What about an Alfa Romeo Six, the forgotten car, the six cylinder version of the Alfetta and predecessor to the V6 Alfa 75's? ...

Ah! Missed this as I was typing my reply seen above at the time it was posted...

No, Wilson, neither is it an Alfa. In fact the name 'Alfa Six' didn't ring any bells with me so I've just had a quick look-see on the www and don't think I've ever seen one of those in the flesh. Rather a handsome design! Were they any good?

Philip,

Yes the Alfa Six was quite good. I hired one on a skiing holiday to Cortina in 1980 by accident. I had some upgrade points left over from business hires of Hertz cars and asked if I could use those when I got to Venice Airport. Yes of course, was the answer and we were upgraded from our booked Fiat 131 basic model to a near new Alfa Six. It was quite similar to the Alfetta 1.8 I had had three years earlier, in that second gear was unavailable until everything had warmed up and synchromesh was on the weak side on all gears  but it did have that lovely sweet 2.5L V6 engine (far sweeter than 3.5L V6 Autodelta 75 I had somewhat later, which is the coarsest six cylinder engine I have ever encountered). I suspect like my 1.8 Alfetta, the Six would have been a martyr to the Italian tin worm. Oddly the later 75's being made from galvanised steel were very rust resistant.

No, Andreas, neither is it a Ford of any type.

Let's see if carrying-along the side elevation helps matters to a considerable degree;

Although you excluded Fiat: this very much looks like a 131 although the filler cap does not fit. Could it be derived from this car?

No Andreas; I'm pretty sure it is not a Fiat!

I'll give everyone a hint; it isn't European......:)......
