Interesting on a few points.

Right-hand-drive; windscreen-wiper only on driver's side and are those 'Semaphore / Trafficator' turn-indicators immediately to the rear of the bonnet below the 'A-Pillar'? I'm guessing the wing-mounted mirror is to aid the driver's road awareness if the car resides in the USA?

I've always loved the various - and varied - Tatra cars which were produced over the years. Completely bonkers, some of them, but many of them featured absolutely fascinating engineering concepts.

Tbh those hinges have always bugged me on the Aerodynamic and I think given later manufacturing technology they would have been “internal”.

I guess the 97 in a way is what commentators today might call “performatively” aerodynamic as a metaphoric “modern” car - maybe like some of Harvey Earl’s 40/50’s designs - where the styling possibly overstates the underpinnings.

Unlike the aerodynamics of the contemporary 1938 “Mallard” series (UK) railway engines or WWII fighter planes I can’t imagine the impressively styled rear fin of the Tatra ever made any meaningful difference to its handling…

The later Tatraplan had the same doors but internal hinges (thus I could distinguish the two because at first I had thought it might be a Tatraplan).
