Right-hand-drive; windscreen-wiper only on driver's side and are those 'Semaphore / Trafficator' turn-indicators immediately to the rear of the bonnet below the 'A-Pillar'? I'm guessing the wing-mounted mirror is to aid the driver's road awareness if the car resides in the USA? I've always loved the various - and varied - Tatra cars which were produced over the years. Completely bonkers, some of them, but many of them featured absolutely fascinating engineering concepts. Philip. Edited July 6, 2023 by pippy

NigelG Posted July 6, 2023 Share #20183 Posted July 6, 2023 Tbh those hinges have always bugged me on the Aerodynamic and I think given later manufacturing technology they would have been “internal”. I guess the 97 in a way is what commentators today might call “performatively” aerodynamic as a metaphoric “modern” car - maybe like some of Harvey Earl’s 40/50’s designs - where the styling possibly overstates the underpinnings. Unlike the aerodynamics of the contemporary 1938 “Mallard” series (UK) railway engines or WWII fighter planes I can’t imagine the impressively styled rear fin of the Tatra ever made any meaningful difference to its handling…

stuny Posted July 7, 2023 Share #20185 Posted July 7, 2023 To the latest puzzle car: The quality of the bodywork suggests a production automobile, rather than a fiberglass kit car. It also suggests high performance.

stuny Posted July 9, 2023 Share #20199 Posted July 9, 2023 Probably a V-10 engine, either from Audi or Lamborghini from about 30 years ago, but other than that, I've got no clue, not even with Andreas' generous crop.
