Correct, Ronald. GTV6 from 1985 😊

I assisted replacing parts of the rear axle on a GTV long ago. That was no fun for a young student who was only familiar with 1950s/60s VWs and Porsches 😉  After we lost our "respect" it worked better than expected.

The three dampers of the transmission axle were replaced on mine last year...I was lucky enough that a friend of mine made the job 🙂

When the rusty GTV was on the jack the struts „should“ relieved pressure properly but it was an old vehicle where we could not even be sure it is jacked safely. Getting the parts out cost many efforts with extra jacks etc. Not a beginners job.

In theory it should be very service friendly - Alfisti say today ;-)))

GTV6 "service friendly"? Not according to all of my friends who owned (and loved) them! But they drove very nicely, despite the often really kluncky gearshift linkage. I preferred the GTA/GTV/Spider Veloce models for driving and working on.

My buddies at the interior shop called me to stop by and see this beauty "even though it's not a Lancia" on Monday:

Seems we are having an Alfa Easter, now "Auto Delta Easter" in this case: Looks like a Giulia Sprint GTA (or GTA 1300 Junior) as race version.

Does it have the slide block rear axle? I recall the loud clack clack noise especially when driven without integral helmet.

You got it!  Alfa Romeo Guilia Sprint GTA ..

... with the dual-plugged, 1600cc engine...

A beautiful machine, and so rare to see now!

Wilson

If you are right that are minimum four possible makers with even more cars. A well known car tester set the car in one line with the top car of one of the mentioned makers after his first test drive.
