The usual (within reasonable parameters).

Very distinctive in pretty much every way so this might not take long. In fact if anyone recognises this wing-vent then it will be 'Stumps Up'!...:)...

I can't see the image.

Strange to hear that, Stuart! I wonder why not. I've used the same process to post as I have done with every snap since joining the Forum. I'll post it again just to see if it works a second time;

Interestingly the photo is shown like with a red filter on the iPhone but normal on my notebook.

How weird! Xmas Gremlins messing with the Leica Forum?!

I'll post another clue. Let's see how this one fares! Don't be fooled into thinking that I've put the image through a fancy 'Film-Grain' filter; it's just that the original pic of the car was taken from miles away on a wide-angle lens......:lol:......

Yes John; there is a certain similarity. It is not, however, an Aston. Here's another crop which shows some more of the car's trim, the door-handle and the door-shut line;

BTW:  yesterday, looking at the images, I couldn't see the first, and the subsequent ones were red on my Mac Notebook.  this morning on my Dell PC they are mono.  The 1stimage does not show on either computer.

I've no idea why you are experiencing problems, Stuart. The first and second are exactly the same file uploaded in exactly the same way.

They are all in monochrome, though, so don't worry about the lack of colour!

Another crop to help everyone? Additionally this one is in colour!

Hmmm.....

I thought that this car might have been a bit too obvious so have chosen only marginally helpful crops but I'll change tack a bit. This might answer a question raised earlier yet, at the same time, raise another. Think 'Vents';

This one, along with #18964 & 7 have a distinct red veil, as reported by others.  Viewed on iMac 21.5" running Ventura 13.1 & Safari 16.2.

Very Odd, Keith, as the file is perfectly neutral on all three screens (mine and two Android 'phones) I've checked. Additionally the b/white images / files have all been converted, using, Photoshop, to GreyScale pror to posting so I wonder if it's to do with viewing on Mac / using Mac software? All three who have mentioned the issue are using Apple products.

Philip  - I just checked my iPad and iPhone 12 -  in both Safari and Chrome the red veil is present.  All a bit of a mystery to me!

Do you have any way of looking on a non-Apple product, Keith, as I've just checked a further two Android devices (wife and daughter's phones) and they all display perfectly on both.

It DOES seem to be a cross-platform issue from what has been written here. Most unusual!
