But  the car existed in various versions, mostly saloons but also convertibles and transporters. I do not know about taxis. Until then BMW was known as manufacturer of aircraft engines and motorcycles. So this was the first BMW car. Interesting that the 3 series still is the most popular model.  Welcome, dear visitor!
