Advertisement Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Hi LADP, Take a look here The Thinkah. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dkCambridgeshire Posted December 11, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 11, 2006 Does not have as much impact as the other shots which used the available light to better effect. Dunk
LADP Posted December 12, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted December 12, 2006 Thanks for looking Dunk, and taking the time to comment. I agree that I like the other shots over this one. I am still amazed at TMAX 3200 and it's low light abilities though, and posted this as a separate post from the others, perhaps not to detract from the others. This was the first roll of 3200 stock I have ever shot, and I expected the grain to be out of control. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm new to processing my own B&W (not counting having done a ton of it back in Jr. High School some 27 or 28 years ago), and I'm thrilled anytime an image comes out! azzo Posted December 12, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 12, 2006 Anthony, it's funny, but i prefer this shot to your others. I like the light pattern in the back ground ( as if they are all his thoughts ). Best Azzo
LADP Posted December 12, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted December 12, 2006 Azzo, that is funny. Well, I just read somewhere that the surest thing one can do to fail is to try to do something that will please everybody. I've always felt that that's true. Not everyone likes the same things luckily. Thanks for your comments, and for pointing out the metaphor for his thoughts... I hadn't thought of that way. azzo Posted December 12, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 12, 2006 Hope you did not get me wrong Anthony. I did not say that i didn't like the others. They are very well exposed with an incredible lens, but this is a stronger image IMHO. Best Azzo
