iedei Posted November 27, 2012 Share #664 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) I ordered this Chiyoda Kogoku Super Rokkor 50mm F1.8 for my Leica M5.....but put it on my M8 earlier and took some pics. One hell of a lens! Perfect rangefinder coupling. Will post some actual photos taken with it soon......but here's a photo of this very interesting vintage lens: Welcome, dear visitor! iedei Posted December 2, 2012 Share #672 Posted December 2, 2012 (edited) i have REALLY been enjoying shooting with the Chiyoda Kogaku Super Rokkor 50mm F1.8. I really lovely lens to use. I originally bought it for the M5 to bide some time before buying a 50mm Summilux for the M5----but honestly it is so good i'm not sure I even want a vintage Summilux any more. These were all taken with the M8: Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! menos I M6 Posted December 3, 2012 Share #673 Posted December 3, 2012 Looks good! I like the rendering in your B&W shots! How is close focus - 1m ? How does it look with strong backlight - any strange flare or especially high veiling flare like some old Leitz lenses from the period? Any portraits?
