stonearabiapix Posted November 23, 2009 Share #1 Â Posted November 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I am new to the forum and have just bought a m8, after a 30 year absence from Lieca use. I have a question that applies to the frame lines of a 21mm voitlander lens. I would like the lens to trip the (widest angle) frame lines in the viewfinder. When I lock the lens into the camera in it brings up the 35-90 frame lines. I know there is a fix for the 40mm summicron so it brings up the proper frame lines. Is there such a fix for the 21? Thanks to all...good to be home. Tim

jaapv Posted November 23, 2009 Share #2 Â Posted November 23, 2009 Not really, unless you change/adapt the bajonet on the lens. Welcome to the forum, btw

don_panko Posted November 24, 2009 Share #4 Â Posted November 24, 2009 I have a Zeiss 21mm and frame lines won't help as the field of view is the entire viewfinder. Take a few shots as a test and you will find that you almost have to crawl into the peep hole to see the coverage of a 21 mm lens. Â I just ignore the frame lines or use them to make sure that the lens is not tilted.
