roguewave Posted November 22, 2009 Share #1 Â Posted November 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Church of Our Lady of Carmel at 115 St & Pleasant Ave in East Harlem is the first Italian parish in NYC. Remnants of this bastion of old Italy remain. Chief amoung them are the Church itself, the world famous Rao's and finally Claudio's, a 100 year old barber shop. What a time portal & a day well spent.
