I too have a German made Tele Elmarit 90mm. Your mention of the serial number inspired me to check mine - it is 33788xx so must have been one of the earliest German made examples.

 

I bought mine on eBay for a good price but was a little disappointed that the focusing was very stiff. I sent it off to Malcolm Taylor who diagnosed minor impact damage. He worked his usual magic and returned it to me a fortnight later with silky smooth focusing, cleaned, lubricated and coded.
