Barnack's Monthly; November: Autumn.

Subject for November is....... rather unsurprisingly Autumn, or, as they say in some of the colonies: Fall.

As usual, photos from first-time and newbie posters will be most welcome: no minimum standard, just look at my shots to see how low we have set the bar in this regard!

Posts from the forum's BIG CHEESES are also encouraged. :D

Pete, Could you help a newbie on this with dates and rules? Thanks.

Thread runs for a month; no limit to number of posts....... subject should approximately conform to the title (maybe ;)). I started this thing to encourage first-time posters to pitch in; which many have. Apart from that it's a free for all, comments and advice welcome, constructive, rude, helpful, abusive (only to my posts :D), just stick 'em up folks.

Here is something from last week; sort of Autumnal, I guess.....

Pete, my apologies. I got this confused with the contest that requires traditional Barnack style cameras (LTM and earlier). Nice digital landscape, BTW.

On reflection maybe I should have called it something else, to avoid confusion with Bill's challenge? On the other hand "confusion" is Leica's middle name, what with all those lensns names and digi-cam names being so similar to each other (or is that summilar?). :D

Here is another photograph of reflections of autumn foliage on the surface of Green Lake in Upstate NY at the end of October 2009.

Yesterday I went for a walk up in the hills here (in the Snowdonia National Park) - a damp. cool but sometimes bright day - nobody around!

Earliest rain.

But the rain stopped long enough to take these shots. M8 and the stunning 75lux.
