phc Posted November 25, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Having for years bought film locally as I go along, unless I'm going somewhere where decent Kodak stock can't be found, I now find this is getting expensive - and often the range of stock isn't what it used to be. I'm a Kodak man, Tri-X and TMZ mostly, and I'm thinking of ordering in quantity from B&H in New York. Does anyone know of any issues I should be concerned about when doing this? Fogging in transit for instance? I'm based in Spain. Or perhaps there are better sources? P.

andybarton Posted November 25, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 25, 2006 Try 7dayshop.com They are based in Guernsey and should be able to ship to Spain no problem.
richam Posted November 25, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 25, 2006 I ordered B&H films several times for delivery in Germany -- no problem at all with fogging. At the time, I had tax free privileges; you may have to deal with customs for shipments from the US. You also might want to check out: http://www.fotoimpex.de/Home/home.html They are based in Germany, and have the Kodak films as well as other classic formula emulsions -- Adox, Efke. Haven't tried them, but I've heard good reports.

earleygallery Posted November 26, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 26, 2006 Oh there have to be plenty of shops that stock what you need in Spain! Have you tried calling or e mailing Kodak for a list?
topoxforddoc Posted November 26, 2006 Share #6 Posted November 26, 2006 Another vote for 7dayshop.com. I buy my Tri-X or HP5 and kodachrome from there. All long dated and delivered quickly. Just buy loads and freeze it. Charlie
