I have been in a rut lately so have posted very little. However I did shoot this a few days ago because I liked the combination of colours. I hope you think the effort was worthwhile! Leica M240 + 50mm Summicron-M f2 @400iso. Gerry

This is the very first walk with my new camera. I always go the same walk just to our fort from where there is a nice and wide view over our city. Winter offers a clear view, trees are barren (which is a thing to regret) and not disturbing the view too much. We get nice dramatic skies then. Handling is uncomplicated a fine, the new look has to be discovered and explored. Leica Q

One of my first photos taken with my Leica M6 and Kodak Tri-X 400 film using the Leica 50/2 Summicron-M lens. The film was developed with Kodak D76. The negatives were digitized by photographing with Sony A7R and Sigma 105/2.8 macro lens. Post processing with B&W and channel inversion plus slight contrast adjustment.

Following a sneak sidetrack I enjoyed this enchanted moment and could just settle my tripod before the moment was gone. In this forest there is a hiking trail a few hundred kilometers long following the hills connecting all the cities in this region. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 90 mm - Pano stitched from 4 pictures

Taken in the low winter light recently using the M240 and 35mm Summarit f2.5 at 400iso. 1/330 f8. 'Nipper' is the name of the dog emblem which has been used by 'His Masters Voice' music company for decades to promote their products. I can only assume this young lady was on her way to work. Gerry

A winter walk in the lost village - former military training area - now centre of a national park. From this perspective it looks not too bad, hidden by trees there is the old school building and the church from the original village, which was given up after WW2. (SL 2 & VE 24-90mm) Approaching the village from the other side you will find the last "buildings" constructed to practice house combat. SL2 & VE 90-280mm, focus stacked. ...in the village...VE 24-90mm In the area around the village you find left overs of older houses, also build only for "practicing"... Summicron 50SL
