Liebe Mitglieder und Besucher des Kundenforums, wollte meinen hochgeschätzten Focomat V35 nach Jahrzehnten wieder reaktivieren. Für eine gründliche Reinigung habe ich u.a. auch das Objektiv und die Objektivschnecke, den Vorschraubring etc. demontiert, das war vermutlich ein Fehler? Die Steuerkurve des Autofocus-Systems habe ich allerdings (aus Respekt vor der Technik) nicht angerührt! Zusammenbau erfolgte streng nach Original-Anleitung. Alles funktioniert wieder, aber ich erreiche bei offener Blende keine Schärfe mehr auf der Grundplatte (Säule auf Höhe "0" eingestellt), egal, in welcher Höhe sich der Vergrößerungskopf befindet. Meine Versuche haben ergeben, dass das Objektiv etwa 6 mm zu tief sitzt (von Hand in den Strahlengang gehalten). Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass es früher unten nicht so weit herausgeschaut hat. Eine Anfrage bei Leica in Wetzlar blieb leider erfolglos, weil der letzte Fachmann für den V35 vor einiger Zeit in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand gegangen ist. Auch konnte man mir keine Schnittzeichnungen für die korrekte Montage der Bauteile oberhalb und unterhalb des Objektivträgers zur Verfügung stellen. Ich wurde allerdings auf dieses Forum verwiesen und habe diesen Vorschlag gern angenommen. Falls jemand glaubt, einen entscheidenden Tipp für die Lösung meines Problems zu haben, kann ich die Angelegenheit gern mit Detail-Fotos oder einer Handskizze ergänzen. hi all I have no idea what to do, i am looking to buy a V35 Focomat Enlarger of a friend. I can find many unofficial information pages about it but cannot find any thing official. i was just looking for some help ans support pages from Leica Leitz, could anyone point me in the right direction. I heard somewhere that you can still buy new colour moduals from them but i cannot find it any where Any help would be greatly received Many Thanks

Guten Tag, gerade habe ich mir einen gebrauchten Leica V35 gekauft. Zu Hause abgekommen stelle ich fest, dass der Schwenkarm, nachdem ich ihn mit der Feststellschraube arretiert habe, etwas Spiel noch oben hat. Ist das normal oder zeigt das einen Verschleiß an? Kann man dieses Spiel irgendwie justieren? Vielen Dank schon jetzt für die Antworten PEckham

A few weeks ago I got a second hand v35 enlarger. Beautiful machine. After testing everything seemed to work excellently. Today I finished setting up my dark room and installed the enlarger. First time I switched the lamp on, everything still worked great. tested the autofocus, brilliant! The lamp was on for a total of not more than 5 minutes. One hour later, ... switched the lamp on again, ... nothing. Checked the wall outlet, OK. Put a new lamp in, nothing! Checked the current at the leads on the lamp house, no current! Fuse, OK. Opened the base unit, checked that the switch delivered current, OK. Transformer got current, but nothing came out at the 12 V end! Does this mean that the transformer is broken??? After many years of use, exactly at the time I finished installing a new dark room, the transformer blows??? I feel miserable...!!! Are these transformers still available? Or should I get a replacement transformer? What specifications? Anybody has any suggestions??? Thanks in advance.

I picked up a V35 with variocontrast module second hand on the weekend, after spending a few hours printing with it on Saturday I'm absolutely in love! Does anyone have an electronic copy of the instruction manual? I found one on the web however it is in French only!
