My son and I continued our tour of the steam railways of Britain this weekend with a visit to "Buzzrail" a preserved narrow gauge railway originally used for hauling sand from the quarries to the mainline. Apparently Leighton Buzzard sand is so good they even sell it to Saudi Arabia. The railway runs about three miles to the Stonehenge works. These visits are always a great opportunity to add to my collection of candid portraits, full of characters who are willing to chat about their hobby whilst I indulge mine. LBLR-2

A rail strike and rush hour do not make for a great traveling experience. So I took some time to shoot the scene. Quite pleased with the result, so it shows something good can come out of adversity and irritation! M9 + 35mm Summicron.

I have had my M8 for only one week and don't believe I've ever enjoyed a camera so much. So simple yet so elegant. Using one of my Voigtlander lenses, a 35mm f1.7 Ultron ASPH, I shot this this afternoon in color and converted with Silver EFX.
