On monday when coming home from my work the sky changed into a promising foreboding glow. I grabbed my stuff in haste, snatched a sturdy tripod, snatched my raincovers and when I sat in the car it started raining. As I reached my location it seemed as if the major downpour happened somewhere else. In front of my eyes there unfolded a spectacular light and cloud formstion. this summer is not what you call a dream. Permanently one has to look for shelter. This time it was a tower with a roofed platform 20 mtr altitude built 1897 on a hill in memory of the Prussian Queen Luise. From there one can have an overlook over a small part the rural area of a region called Ostwestfalen-Lippe. This is not an area with spectacular sights. It requires to be discovered at the second glance.
