  1. On monday when coming home from my work the sky changed into a promising foreboding glow. I grabbed my stuff in haste, snatched a sturdy tripod, snatched my raincovers and when I sat in the car it started raining. As I reached my location it seemed as if the major downpour happened somewhere else. In front of my eyes there unfolded a spectacular light and cloud formstion. I could not run for a better vantage point because light changed very quickly. Canon 5 D MKII with R Elmarit 28 mm and Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron. The colors were as such, processed from RAW the files only underwent a small correction in contrast and came out of the camera in these incredible colors. 2. this summer is not what you call a dream. Permanently one has to look for shelter. This time it was a tower with a roofed platform 20 mtr altitude built 1897 on a hill in memory of the Prussian Queen Luise. From there one can have an overlook over a small part the rural area of a region called Ostwestfalen-Lippe. This is not an area with spectacular sights. It requires to be discovered at the second glance. Panorama stitched out of 5 handheld shots Canon 5DMKII with Elmarit R 35mm The oroginal is 3.6 MB and I am afraid scaling down to forum size might show a slight blurr. Please climb the steps. Thanks for taking a look.
  3. I was on my way back home from office when I recognized a strange sky and lighting. So I hurried with my bike uphill, snachted my MKII+Elmarit R 60 mm and was just in time to catch this appearance of our house. And soon after a heavy thunderstorm raged in our region.
