Here are now somes samples of golden autumn colors. The trees have only started now turning into yellow. I wonder whether there will be really strong colors his year. I think one has to wait a bit more. Still, deep in the forest there is much green. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm

Last week we still had that nice warm November weather. A short moment of golden light was there and it was just time enough to run with the tripod from one angle to the other. Olympus OMD EM5 with Nocticron

This is the main alley of our biggest cemetery, a huge area with fantastic big old trees and very interesting manifold details. Weather at first seemd to have a wintry grey. When I reached at my location (I started a series of graveyard impressions) the sun came out and then I had 2 hours of hard quick work because sun was already very low then. Here is the first introductory picture. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit 180 mm

Botanical garden is rich in details if you are able to grab the last sunbeam. You learn to be quick: grab your stuff after coming home, change clothes, drive 2 miles, set up your tripod, lens choice, manual focus, forgot cable release-doesn't matter-selftimer on and shoot shoot shoot. I think you all know that very well. Olympus OMD EM 5 with R Elmarit 90 mm

Since evening sun has left our own garden when I come home I often then hurry to our Botanical Garden. There are not many flowers there now but if one is quick one can get here and there something of a glow. Here is one last sunbeam glowing on a kind of grass Olympus OMD EM 5 with Elmarit R 90 mm

last weekend we had a warm day with temperatures of late summer. Colors were promising and so we decided for a forest walk. On a hill top there was a golden atmosphere and we found a flock of sheep there. My Elmarit R lens 180 mm so came out of the bag and was mounted, as always, on my Canon 5D MKII.

this is one of those pictures when a hazy sun showed up for an hour and then vanish to leave everything grey. I gave sky and land a different treatment of contrast in PSE to exploit what the sensor captured to its limits. I know it is a matter of taste but this image is just the impression I had when taking the picture. Have a look! Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 60 mm macro

Last weekend finally a late sun came out and so there was the opportunity for enjoying the warm summer fragrance of the fields. Canon MKII plus Elmarit R 90mm, Extension Tube, Monopod. Light was very soft, almost a bit too low. Feel the grain and I'll be glad if somebody might imagine how intense the fragrance was. Thanks for looking. summer evenings in the fields have their own charme. These were the last sunbeams over the field. My Canon 5D MKII was mounted on a tripod and Elmarit R 180 mm. I'll be glad if somebody wants to share the atmosphere. Thanks for looking.
